Starting the Adoption Process is as easy as booking an appointment time with us via email or coming to see us at one of our Animates days.
Once you have met your kitty and have decided they are the one, we will ask you to fill out our adoption forms, these are vital to the adoption process.
After filling out our adoption forms we will ask you about the payment of your kitty. If your kitty is not quite ready to adventure to their new home yet, we require a $50 holding deposit or full payment. Full payment is required to have cleared by time of pickup of your forever feline.
Please do not be offended if you are asked to wait to take home your newly adopted kitty. We do not rehome kittens until they are 10 weeks of age. We will also ask you to wait if your adopted kitty is not fully through our rehabilitation process, but you will be given details and updates as your kitty progresses.
Every cat over 6 months old is tested for FIV and FeLV and can be done upon request for younger kittens.
Please do not get offended if we do not allow you to take your feline before our routine desex, microchip and vaccinations. This is in the best interest for the health of the cat. No cat leaves our rescue until routine procedures have been completed.
Purebreed cats are not guaranteed to have papers confirming their breed. If you would like more information on this please contact us.
Every cat's microchip is registered with NZCAR and information will be changed to your details after adoption.
If for any reason you can no longer care for your adopted feline please do not hesitate to contact us and we will take the feline into care.
