Meet BOB, our Big Ol’ Boy 💕 

BOB is a gentle giant with the kindest soul. Life hasn’t always been easy for him. He spent a long time fending for himself on the streets, let down by the humans who should have cared for him. When he arrived at Kitty Kingdom, his fur was matted and he bore the marks of his time as a stray. But beneath it all, we quickly discovered the most beautiful, gentle-hearted boy.

BOB has tested FIV positive, which means he’ll need to be an indoor-only cat and the only feline in his new home. What he needs most is a patient, understanding person who will give him the time and space to truly settle and trust again.

BOB has been through a lot, and he processes new things at his own pace. Because of this, he’d be happiest in an adult-only home where life is calm and predictable.  

Everyone at Kitty Kingdom has fallen in love with BOB. He’s so special, and we’ll only let him go to the purrfect home that will love him as much as we do 💕

Bernie, aka "Your Majesty", is beautiful, and he knows it 😻 

Bernie must be touching you at all times and will be your little shadow, and will be especially persistent when he wants some love. 

Bernie is a handsome distinguished gentleman.  

When adopting Bernie, you must understand a couple of things:

• He is an old cat, 10 years-old. Which means that he will have increasing veterinary needs, and you must be committed to provide financially and materially for those needs.  

• He is a long-haired Birman (we have his official paperwork), which means he needs daily brushing. Not weekly, not every now and then, but daily. You must be committed to caring for him as long-haired cats can get gastro-intestinal issues due to swallowing too much hair.  

• Due to his age, he has a sensitive tummy, and does better on special vet food. 

Bernie is a special, loving caring soul, and he deserves a very special family to spend the rest of his life with. He was very loved for 10 years but unfortunately his dad went into a nursing home and couldn't care for him anymore. We loved him as much as we could, and now he deserves his forever family.. He is one of the sweetest cats we've ever had and anybody adopting him will be very lucky.

Being older,  he will do better in a quieter environment, with no small children, and ideally with someone who is at home a lot as he is very clingy. He will not do well with another animal. He has been outside in the past, however isn't particularly fond of it so will be happy to live in an apartment (he has never been outside or asked to do so since he's been with us).
