Don’t see many or any kittens listed?
During kitten season it is likely that only kittens placed with our foster carers will appear on this page.
This is because the kittens residing at HQ are often adopted very quickly at our adoption events — before our admin team have a chance to add them here.
🏠 Come and meet them in purson
If you’re hoping to adopt a kitten during kitten season, the best way to meet them is at one of our adoption events:
Animates Tower Junction – First Saturday of each month, 10am–2pm
Animates Rangiora – Second Saturday of each month, 10am–2pm
There are little paws waiting to meet you 🐾
Please check our Facebook page for other adoption events, open days (and any event cancellations) – they will not be listed on our website.
Please only use any contact details provided for foster carers if you are interested in meeting their foster kittens. These numbers are NOT for anything other than that. If you have any queries other than the kittens please email kittykingdomcanterbury@hotmail.com and someone will reply to you as soon as we can. If it is an emergency please call a vet or the SPCA.

My name is Minnie. I was born on 12 December 2025 and I was rescued shortly after that time. I have nearly crossed the rainbow bridge twice but I am better now and looking for my furever home!
I am pretty shy and timid with new people right now but once I get to know you I will be giving you so much love!
I love to play with my toys and run around crazy!
I have only lived in one smallish room so it will take me quite some time to explore and be comfortable with my new home. Please give me time and space to do this.
I will be ready to be adopted in about 2 weeks (from around the beginning of April) .
