Are you wondering why you might not be seeing many kittens here?
Not all of our available kittens are listed on our website.
Generally, the kittens you see here are the ones who are living with our foster families.
You will be able to meet other cats and kittens (who are residing at Kitty Kingdom Head Quarters) at our regular Animates adoption days:
🏠 Animates Tower Junction — 1st Saturday of each month, 10am–2pm
🏠 Animates Rangiora — 2nd Saturday of each month, 10am–2pm
Please check our Facebook page for any additional pop-up adoption events or cancellation notices.
Keep checking back! Kittens in foster care will be added to our website as soon as they have passed their vet checks and are ready for adoption.
So even if you don’t see many kittens listed here, don’t worry — there are still little paws waiting to meet you!

🐾 Meet Oski 🐾
When Oski first arrived at Kitty Kingdom, she was very hissy, very spitty and very unsure about hoomans.
But this gorgeous girl has been on quite a journey since then.
And somewhere along the way, she discovered the absolute joy of smooching! ❤️
Oski has learnt that hoomans can be trusted, that gentle attention feels pretty good and that being close to her person is actually rather lovely. Once she trusts you, she becomes very needy for affection and will happily sit on your lap soaking up the attention.
Being picked up isn’t her favourite thing, although she may eventually allow you to pick her up for brief moments.
But here’s the important part…
Oski’s trust cannot be rushed.
When she moves into her new home, she will likely need a few months to settle, build her confidence and truly trust her new hooman. She needs someone who will give her the space and time to do this in her own way, without pressure or expectations.
Oski is looking for a very special hooman — someone who is experienced with nervous cats, calm, confident, relaxed and incredibly patient. Someone who understands that earning a nervous cat’s trust is a process, and who will celebrate every little step along the way.
Oski needs an adult-only home with no children, she has not been tested with dogs.
She will need an extended period of indoor-only living while she settles, builds her confidence and forms a strong bond with her new hooman. We believe Oski would be perfectly happy living a completely indoor-only life.
Oski could live with another friendly feline, as she gets on well with the other kitties at her foster Mums, provided introductions are done correctly and slowly. However, she would also be very happy as the only cat, where she can have all that affection to herself.
Finding the right home for Oski is incredibly important to us, so potential adopters will need to meet her more than once, before any decision is made about her future.
Oski isn’t looking for someone who wants an instant lap cat.
She’s looking for someone who understands that trust is earned, not rushed.
Someone who will sit quietly beside her, give her the time she needs and allow her to discover, at her own pace, just how wonderful having a hooman can be.
And when she finally decides that you’re her person…
you’ll have a very affectionate, very smoochy little girl who thinks your lap is a pretty wonderful place to be. ❤️
