Are you wondering why you might not be seeing many kittens here?
Not all of our available kittens are listed on our website.
Generally, the kittens you see here are the ones who are living with our foster families.
You will be able to meet other cats and kittens (who are residing at Kitty Kingdom Head Quarters) at our regular Animates adoption days:
🏠 Animates Tower Junction — 1st Saturday of each month, 10am–2pm
🏠 Animates Rangiora — 2nd Saturday of each month, 10am–2pm
Please check our Facebook page for any additional pop-up adoption events or cancellation notices.
Keep checking back! Kittens in foster care will be added to our website as soon as they have passed their vet checks and are ready for adoption.
So even if you don’t see many kittens listed here, don’t worry — there are still little paws waiting to meet you!

🐱💕 Meet Oski — a little girl looking for her special person!
Oski arrived at Kitty Kingdom as a very frightened rural colony kitten. She’s made wonderful progress since then and has blossomed into an affectionate little girl who absolutely loves fuss and attention from people she has learned to trust - however, she is still extremely shy with strangers.
Oski will need plenty of time to settle into a new home and will likely hide away for quite a while. Her person will need patience, understanding and a willingness to let her build trust at her own pace, without expecting her to interact or accept affection before she’s ready.
Her foster mum can share all the little tricks that have helped Oski come out of her shell — including boiled chicken and Churu treats! 😻
🏡 Oski is looking for:
Someone who is ready to make a stable, lifelong commitment.
One or two adults, with no children or other pets. We feel this quieter environment, with fewer people and animals to adjust to, will help Oski settle in more comfortably.
A home in a quiet area where Oski can feel safe and secure. This could be a very quiet residential street, an indoor-only home, perhaps with a secure catio, or a rural or semi-rural location. She would most likely be happy as an indoor-only cat. If outdoor access were considered, this must only be after an extended indoor only period, potentially several months. A busy urban environment is not suitable for Oski.

With patience, time, love and understanding, you’ll discover what a special little companion Oski is. Earning the trust of a cat like her is incredibly rewarding, and she has so much love to give.
🐾 Please note: Oski’s adoption is not being managed on a first-come, first-served basis. More than one meeting with Oski will be necessary before any decisions are made, giving her time to become familiar with her potential adopters and helping us find the right match for her.
