If it is an emergency please call a vet or the SPCA.
Are you wondering why you might not be seeing many kittens here?
Not all of our available kittens are listed on our website.
Generally, the kittens you see here are the ones who are living with our foster families.
You will be able to meet other cats and kittens (who are residing at Kitty Kingdom Head Quarters) at our regular Animates adoption days:
🏠 Animates Tower Junction — 1st Saturday of each month, 10am–2pm
🏠 Animates Rangiora — 2nd Saturday of each month, 10am–2pm
Please check our Facebook page for any additional pop-up adoption events or cancellation notices.
Keep checking back! Kittens in foster care will be added to our website as soon as they have passed their vet checks and are ready for adoption.
So even if you don’t see many kittens listed here, don’t worry — there are still little paws waiting to meet you!
Oski
Female
D.O.B February 2026
When Oski first arrived at Kitty Kingdom having been rescued from a colony, she was very hissy, very spitty and very unsure about hoomans.
But this gorgeous girl has been on quite a journey since then and has learnt that hoomans can be trusted, that gentle affection feels pretty good and that being close to her person is actually rather lovely. Once she trusts you, she becomes extremely affectionate and will happily sit on your lap soaking up all of the attention.
Oski's trust cannot be rushed and when she moves into her new home, she will likely need a few months to settle and build her confidence. She needs someone who will give her the space and time to do this in her own way, without pressure or expectation. She is looking for an adopter who understands that earning trust is a process, and who will celebrate every little step along the way.
Oski needs an adult-only home with no children, she has not been tested with dogs. She doesn't like to be picked up but with time may allow this for brief moments.
She will need an extended period of indoor-only living while she settles, builds her confidence and forms a strong bond with her new hooman. We think Oski would be purfectly happy living a completely indoor-only life, but she may find her confidence enough to want to venture outside in the future, in which case a very quiet street, semi rural spot or somewhere with a catio would be best for her.
Oski could live with another friendly cat, as she gets on well with the other kitties at her foster Mum's, but she would also be very happy as the only cat, where she can have all the attention to herself.
Potential adopters will need to meet Oski more than once, before any decision is made about her future.
If you are interested in meeting Oski and believe you might just be the angel she's waiting for, please email her foster mum, Tina - and tell her all about you.
