Don’t see many or any kittens listed?
During kitten season it is likely that only kittens placed with our foster carers will appear on this page.
This is because the kittens residing at HQ are often adopted very quickly at our adoption events — before our admin team have a chance to add them here.
🏠 Come and meet them in purson
If you’re hoping to adopt a kitten during kitten season, the best way to meet them is at one of our adoption events:
Animates Tower Junction – First Saturday of each month, 10am–2pm
Animates Rangiora – Second Saturday of each month, 10am–2pm
There are little paws waiting to meet you 🐾
Please check our Facebook page for other adoption events, open days (and any event cancellations) – they will not be listed on our website.
Please only use any contact details provided for foster carers if you are interested in meeting their foster kittens. These numbers are NOT for anything other than that. If you have any queries other than the kittens please email kittykingdomcanterbury@hotmail.com and someone will reply to you as soon as we can. If it is an emergency please call a vet or the SPCA.
Merida
(but mostly called Pinkie)
DOB: November 2025
Female
Merida is a strong warrior and independent lady, looking for her forever home. She mostly just goes by her nickname Pinkie, but I’m sure she’ll adjust to whatever name you pick for her.
She is a fierce little kitten with a love for good food (which she will defend against anyone daring to come too close) and a loyal heart.
Pinkie is full of energy and practically bounces off the walls most of the day. She loves playing with humans or other cats and she will need a worthy companion who can match her energy. Another cat close in age and similar in energy would be ideal, but I’m sure she would also easily adjust to having a dog as a buddy. She is very open to new experiences and very curious.
Once she has exhausted herself (for the next 30 minutes) she loves to snuggle up with her humans and she is never shy to show her affection and distribute kitty kisses.
Pinkie is used to a household with other cats and children of all ages, so I’m sure she will easily settle into your busy home as well.
Please contact Susanne on 020 4092 1024 to meet Merida.
