During kitten season it is likely that only kittens placed with our foster carers will appear on this page.
This is because the kittens residing at HQ are often adopted very quickly at our adoption events — before our admin team have a chance to add them here.
🏠 Come and meet them in purson
If you’re hoping to adopt a kitten during kitten season, the best way to meet them is at one of our adoption events:
Animates Tower Junction – First Saturday of each month, 10am–2pm
Animates Rangiora – Second Saturday of each month, 10am–2pm
There are little paws waiting to meet you 🐾
Please check our Facebook page for other adoption events, open days (and any event cancellations) – they will not be listed on our website.
Please only use any contact details provided for foster carers if you are interested in meeting their foster kittens. These numbers are NOT for anything other than that. If you have any queries other than the kittens please email kittykingdomcanterbury@hotmail.com and someone will reply to you as soon as we can. If it is an emergency please call a vet or the SPCA.

Hi, I’m Kouvr 💕
I’m the kind of girl who just cruises through life......relaxed, smoochy and happy to be wherever the people are. My fur is next-level soft…like actual velvet....and I’m just as lovely natured as I am cute.
I’m a fun-loving wee girl who settles in really easily and just gets on with everyone. I'm great pals with my foster mummy's kitty and I’d probably do really well with a calm, cat-friendly little woofer too because I’m such a chilled, confident little thing ❤️
I’d fit in just about anywhere really. I’d be great with kids because I’m gentle and playful, but I’d also suit someone older wanting an easy-going buddy who enjoys cuddles and hanging out.
Apparently I’m an “actual dream kitten” and my foster mummy says she’d keep me herself if she didn’t already have enough kitties......so I feel like that’s a pretty glowing review really 🐾💕

Chloe is a sweet little girl who can be a wee bit shy at first 🙉💕
She may take a little time to feel comfortable, but once she does, her fun-loving personality really begins to show. Chloe adores playtime and has a cheeky, spirited side that comes out when she’s feeling safe and settled.
Underneath that initial shyness is a soft, gentle soul — she just needs a patient home that will give her the time and reassurance she needs to grow in confidence. With a little love and understanding, Chloe will truly come into her own.
